Sea Ray 180 Bowrider Hull Repairs & Keelguard

After a few years worth of beaching the boat, the bow area on this customers keel had worn through the gelcoat exposing the laminate and a few small gelcoat chips had appeared around the area as well. After hoisting the boat up off the trailer, we went to work by grinding back & laying up a new laminate over the exposed area of glass. Once cured, the bow area of the hull was fared out & the gelcoat colour was matched, ready for a respray. Once the respray had been completed & cured, the bow area was cut & buffed back to a nice gloss finish, before the every popular keelguard was fitted to keep the keel in good condition moving forward & prevent major wearing of the gelcoat around that beaching area of the keel.
