Jayco Caravan Front Panel Respray

With this customer bringing in his Jayco caravan, he was looking to get the front panel & access hatch tidied up as it was looking pretty tired & had yellowed quite substantially, with what looks like a previous clear coat delaminating from the hatch section. With these panels only being made of plastic & not fibreglass, we went about masking out the caravan, removing the front hatch & masking everything as required. Once all the prep work was done, a plastic primer was applied to the surfaces and allowed to set. Once the colour matching of the top coat had been completed, we went about painting the new top coat to the front panel & the hatch to provide a nice flat gloss finish that will last for the long haul. Along with replacing a gas strut on the hatch that was a bit worn & wouldn’t hold the hatch up, this customer will enjoy looking in the rear vision mirror while towing the caravan again!
