Rae Line 186 C Upgrades

This customer came in with his 2007 186 C knowing exactly what he was after, which was an extended swim platform with stainless railings & a full electric anchor windlass system. We went about molding up our extended swim platform in a two-tone finish to match the deck of his boat and at the same time, molded up a bowsprit & a new anchor hatch to be fitted onto the bow of the deck for the new windlass. After having the stainless railings measured up, they were fabricated to suit & fitted to the new extended swim platform. The Maxwell RC-6 windlass was used to fit on the bow of the boat & a new Maxtek stainless steel anchor & auto-deploy fairlead fitted. To finish off the upgrades on this boat, a new insert was fitted into the rub rail around the perimeter of the boat & the black gelcoat on the deck was given a cut & buff to leave a nice gloss finish.
